Seriously, what is Sid's problem? This goes beyond Super-Persistent Predator ( tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php… ). This is sick. If you are so hell-bent on the destruction of these characters, to the point that you are willing to submerge yourself under water and wait for them to come drink, you have some issues. He's like the Javert of sabre-tooths. Come to think of it, Sam (what with his mastodon-carrying tendencies) is sort of the Jean Valjean of ground sloths. I may be on to something here...
